For the past week I have been enjoying my reporting with many talented artists such as Jeremy Givens (@_yeremj_) who has shown me the wonders of exposure photography and Dawin Mok (@_mokaveli_) who has given me perspective from up above with drones.

Dawin Mok has kindly invited me last Friday to tag along his shoot for LTF Adventures at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds in Stockton. With camera and gear ready I was excited to come interview Dawin Mok and of course watch a bunch of cars I could not afford drive around in circles.

The event was high in adrenaline for $250 people came racing in the luxury automobiles. I watched Dawin operate the drone as it if were a musical instrument. His thumbs were rested on the gears and his eyes on his phone. Dawin operates on a DJI Phantom 3 with full record of 1080p HD.

Dawin has captured an amazing view of Stockton from up above. He told me how many people have been in awe and often they comment how they cannot believe that this is Stockton. Doing this project has opened me to so many talented and passionate people who don’t just take pictures of their food or just take “selfies”.

Instagram has helped form a community and even has helped made it easier to fall in love with a city that people have a hard time seeing beauty in.
