The logo was chosen after more than 30 submissions were submitted in one of Melanie Marshall’s Graphic Arts courses.

Marcus’ logo was chosen for it’s use of dynamic color and overall aesthetic. It nicely fit the design scheme and concept provided to students for this project.

Marcus is a Graphic Design major at Delta College, minoring in Web Development.

pulseSM“I first fell in love with graphic designing almost 10 years ago, but took my first Photoshop class in 2012,” she said. “I have a broad range of talents and passions within the industry from creating and customizing business cards, invitations, and other print media, to logo design, typography, photo manipulation and MUCH more!
You can click here to visit my portfolio and see more of my work.”

Marcus’ logo will be used on the Pulse of 209 website as the main branding component. In addition to the logo, she also designed business cards, poster logos and letterhead for Pulse.
